The first Intellectual Output is a very valuable tool in terms of study and analysis that can be used by all professionals who work with migrant populations, especially women. It will also generate a high benefit in the process of inclusion and autonomy of many migrant women who live in the host societies with the hope of becoming active citizens and agents of change. The national and transnational reports will also be able to be consulted and used by legislators and stakeholders who are experts in enacting legislation and designing programmes for the social integration of the migrant population.

REPORTS

As a part of the Intellectual Output 1, the project partners collaborated in the creation of the following National and Transnational reports.

TRANSNATIONAL REPORT

Main findings about trainers’ readiness and migrant women situation in host participating countries

We are proud to present the first Intellectual Output of the Let’s Digital project – the Transnational Study Report, which was created as a result of the collaboration between all the project partners. The report is based on research conducted in all four partner countries and the aim of it is to exchange data and collect information from third sector organisations, official statistics, internal sources in the involved organisations.

The main identified barriers for migrant women, according to the compiled research, were:

  • Stronger family constraints (family responsibilities as childcare)
  • Migrant women in general have lower digital skills
  • Lack of professional experience due to gender gap, low education level, or discrimination when hiring
  • Gender and racial discrimination, in society and in institutional levels as well
  • Lack of self-confidence

National Study Report

As a part of the first Transnational Report, all project partners conducted desk research in their respective countries which led to the creation of the National Study Reports. The research compiled for the National Reports consists of qualitative and quantitative data alike, painting a comprehensive picture of the state of affairs regarding migrants and refugees in the country, forming into one cohesive summary research. The research was based on data provided by the relevant stakeholders in each country. You can download the National Reports here:

Trainers' Guidelines

The Trainer’s Guidelines are designed as an educational resource that will provide guidance for the organisation of efficient training and the provision of services supporting the professional integration of women migrants by teaching them entrepreneurship through digital means. As a result, it is a valuable Guide for partnerships, agencies, service providers, policy makers, and programme design bodies on how to teach migrant women on entrepreneurship and how to promote and accelerate their social and professional integration.
